De bergen lopen plotseling over in het Eikesdalsvatnet, een langgerekt meer omgeven door bergen van 1700 tot 1800 meter hoog. Het Eikesdalvatnet lit op 166 km van de appartementen, dit is ongeveer 2.5 uur rijden. Het is onderdeel van de Aursj\u00f8vegen.
