Het centrum van de stad ligt in feite midden op zee. Kristiansund is bekend om zijn klipvis. Dit is gedroogde en gezouten kabeljauw.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proef de plaatselijke vis, &#8211; schaal en schelpdieren bij Smia Fiskerestaurant. Dit zit in een gebouw uit 1787 en is \u00e9\u00e9n van de meest unieke eetgelegenheden van de stad.<\/li>\n<li>Op de Milnbrygga-werf zit het klipvismuseum.<\/li>\n<li>Op loopafstand van het centrum vind je een vrijwel intact gebleven scheepswerf uit de laatste dagen van het Noorse zeiltijdperk<\/li>\n<li>Koffiebranderij en handelshuis Patrick Volmar heeft een koffiebranderij van al meer dan een eeuw oud. Je kunt er heerlijke, vers gebrande koffiedrinken.<\/li>\n<li>In Kristiansund staat het oudste Noorse operahuis. Kijk naar de mogelijkheden voor een voorstelling.<\/li>\n<li>In juni is het Nordic Light festival of Photography. Fotografen stellen hun foto\u2019s overal door de stad tentoon.<\/li>\n<li>Maak een wandeling naar Varden, het uitkijkpunt boven de stad.<\/li>\n<li>Ten Noorden van Kristiansund ligt het eiland Sm\u00f8la.
