Both boats are equipped with a reliable 25HP Yamaha engine. That means: start, sail and enjoy the silence. The Verano steers lightly and easily, making it very accessible even for less experienced captains. Its open layout gives you all the space you need to enjoy nature.

Fuel

Boat hire prices do not include petrol. We ensure that the boats are refuelled at the end of the day, and that there is enough petrol on board for a day at sea. Petrol will be settled at the end of your stay. Keep in mind that larger engines in particular consume a lot of petrol. Consumption of more than 20 litres per day is not uncommon.

Rules of conduct at sea

Sea fishing is serious business. Never forget to respect the sea with all its capriciousness and use your common sense:

  • Always wear a life jacket, these are provided and mandatory.
  • Do not consume alcohol, especially as a boat driver.
  • Should unexpected problems arise, you can always contact us. Make sure the number of the fiskesenter is always in your phone. Also put the number of the coast guard in your phone.
  • Stay at a minimum distance of 100 metres from fish farms.
  • Dress according to the weather conditions. Bear in mind that it is often colder on the water than on land. Heat suits can be rented at the fiskesenter.
  • Treat the fish and other animals with respect. Release the fish you don't want to eat.
  • Make sure you have a basic set of first aid equipment.
