Are you travelling between Norway's highlights, such as the Trollstigen, Geiranger Whether the Atlantic Road? Then this is the place to turn off the engine and really enjoy stunning views over the fjord.

We are strategically located between Molde and Ålesund. You don't have to detour for peace and quiet with us. Here it's all about the sea, silence and fishing.

From your motorhome, you can see the sun sink straight into the fjord. Moreover, all facilities are available for a comfortable stay, such as a nice hot shower or the possibility to do some laundry.

Our location is the perfect base for sea and fishing lovers. Cast your rod in the fish-rich waters right outside the door; who knows, you might catch the fish of your life!

  • Boat rental: We rent seaworthy boats to go up the fjord by yourself.
  • Fishing Adventure / Panoramic Fjord Tour: Less experience? Book a trip with an experienced guide. He will teach you the secrets of sea fishing and show you the most beautiful spots.
  • From the shore: You can also enjoy casting a rod from the pier.

Wake up to views over the fjord

We offer an ideal mix of views and shelter. You are within walking distance of the water but protected from the strong sea winds. We have several places to park your campervan, spread across the site. So you will always stand quietly.

🌲 Forest edge (2-3 spots)

Along the forest edge with beautiful views of the fjord. You can walk to the harbour from here.

⚓ The Harbour (1 spot)

Especially for small campers. You are right by the water; an absolute top spot in good weather! (Please note: limited electricity).

Motorhome site Restfull Road (3-4 Pitches)

Along the road, easily accessible and with stunning views of the fjord and mountains. There is hardly any traffic and you are close to the facilities.

Motorhome area Meadow (1 pitch)

A unique spot along the forest and meadows with fjord views, right next to the facilities. Not flat.

Facilities & practical info

Discover the charm of small-scale camping at Romsdal Fiskesenter.

  • Basic: Paved pitches with electricity and free Wi-Fi.
  • Sanitary facilities: Toilet block with shower and toilet.
  • Laundry: Washing machine and dryer available (NOK 50 per turn).
  • Service: Empty place for grey water and chemical toilet.

⚠️ Important: We are not connected to the sewage system. When emptying the toilet, please use only biodegradable liquid as the overflow will end up in the sea.

Shop & good food

In our reception you will find a small shop for daily necessities and everything you need for your fishing adventures.

  • Fishing gear: From basic supplies to rod rentals. We are happy to share our secret tips for the best spots!

  • Pizza & More: Don't feel like cooking? In season, we sell delicious pizzas and other snacks to bake yourself. Perfect for ending the day easily and tastefully.

Evenings by the fire

Want to spend the evening by a crackling fire overlooking the vast fjords? We have a fixed fire pit, as well as separate fire bowls to use at your own campervan. Wood is available at reception (NOK 60 per basket).

Fun for children

Children have a great time on our site.

  • Animals: Our two bunnies love grass, dandelions and attention from children.

  • Water: Swim in the harbour (nice and deep but sheltered), paddle, or hunt for shells and sea creatures along the tide line.

  • Bunkers: 1 km away are World War II bunkers. Exciting to wander around (with torch and sturdy shoes!) in them.

  • Delights: Roasting marshmallows and sausages over the fire is always a success.

Hiking in the area

Put on your hiking boots! There are many possibilities right from the Fiskesenter:

  1. Bunker tour: An easy and fun walk to the WWII bunkers.

  2. Viewpoint ‘Nakken’: Slightly more challenging. You climb a historic staircase (made by prisoners of war) to a stunning viewpoint.

  3. Mountain tours: For real climbers. Start from the site or drive to the mountain car park first for a shorter route to the summit.
